Daredevil #340

Years ago, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, Ben Urich, Glorianna O'Breen, and Kathy Malper were eating in a diner in eastern Pennsylvania. This was before any of them met Matt Murdock or Daredevil, and each of them had reached a turning point in their lives. Suddenly, Victor "Kruel" Krueller is thrown through the front window by a large man.

Yesterday, Ben Urich and his wife were attacked by Kruel. Daredevil "asks" around. He thinks that someone is getting revenge on Matt Murdock or the "old" Daredevil.

Meanwhile, Gloriana breaks into Matt's old apartment; she's covering a story about how the media destroyed Murdock. Kruel is also there. He attacks Glorianna, triggering memories of that day in the diner in both of them. Kruel comes closer to remembering who attacked him. Finished, he throws Gloriana out the window and to her death. When Murdock hears about Glorianna's death, he visits her body in the morgue.

Of course, we know the man who attacked Kruel was Wilson Fisk. At this time, he's lost his position as "Kingpin of Crime". But he's going to change that. He obtains the names of witnesses who can connect him to the murder of Jimmy Sabini. Don't expect them to live much longer.
