The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.

I am quite happy that the printing behavior of the collected Daredevil ongoing hasn't changed. Bru and Lark's first arc goes straight to tpb form and not hc form. It would be a pretty save bet now that their second arc will go straight to tpb form as well, followed shortly by an oversized hc collecting both arcs. This would be "Volume 7" in the outstanding oversized collection of Daredevil.

But I find it odd that the "Inside and Out" is a "vol. 1". Why wouldn't they follow the regular volume numbering? It's not like they went back to Vol. 1 when Bendis took over. Hmmmm.

Could it be that "The Devil, inside and out" is a "maxi" arc (considering the Brubaker-Lark run as a whole single plot) where "The Devil in Cell Block D" is just the first part ?

Otherwise, I don't understand why the TPB is not entitled "The Devil in Cell Block D"

The choice of Dave Finch for the cover of the TPB is odd. I don't think his cover is the best to illustrate that arc.
We're talking about a story with DD in jail, KP, Hammerhead, Owl, Punisher and many others around, Foggy's death, Becky's return and all we're getting is a DD-KP cover. Bad choice.

Ug. The whole maxi-arc thing is probably right. That sucks. I know they've done this sort of thing with Captain America (Winter Sol.) and Wolverince (Enemy of the State). I think it's stupid insofar as it just messes up the TPB numbering for no good reason. It's clearly just marvel trying to create "jumping on points". People are way more likely to buy a vol. 1 than a vol. 9 or whatever. Greedy little monkeys.
