i just picked up my copy of Previews yesterday. i saw the solicit for the DD mini busts. they look great, of course, but i thought there was going to be an armoured version as well. does anyone know what happened to that statue?

This is a Bowen Collector's Club Exclusive. Must live in the US to join. Once a member, you are given the opportunity to purchase statues and bust ONLY available to its members. This or Ebay will be your only options to pursue this.

Anyone knows when these are actually released? I just won ebay bids on both the yellow and red versions but it's a pre sale. When will these be released in the market? Thanks.

they have been solicited in this month's Previews. i think that it is 2 months away, if they ship on time. sometimes, bowen stuff ships late so it could be longer.

Yes, expect them to ship a month or two late, but be pleasantly suprised should they arrive on time.

By the way, I want to hear from EVERYONE here planning on getting these.

I'm going to purchase both the Yellow and Red versions. I'll skip on pursuing the Armoured variant.

i've got both on order too. i'm really picky with the statues that i buy and i usually stick with DD related stuff. bowen's stuff is too good to pass on.

The ebay seller told me he was gonna ship mine out last week. Haven't gotten them yet... Think i'll go email him again... I'm getting anxious... haha... pre-orders on ebay always gets me worrried...

I have both the red and yellow coming to me from Zeus Comics in Dallas. They are supposed to be in this week, and shipping out. Can't believe I will actually have a pair of these. Fine looking busts. I'd even have gone for the armored one, but since that's an exclusive, it won't be an option for me.

These are incredible!!! Seriously. I was worried that Randy wasn't involved in the actual sculpting on these, but the K Brothers really produced a quality worthy of the Bowen name. Really beautiful. I'll keep my eyes open for an Armoured version, but I'm not seeking one out with any effort. I can't wait to set these up on one of my shelves with my other Bowen Busts that are DD universe-centric.

so, you guys (and gal) already got your? i put in an order from my lcs and haven't seen them yet. i'm getting a little peeved. this is the second order they've messed up.

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
