I liked the first Hulk movie but it's true that is because I like Ang Lee work, not because he was the perfect director for Hulk.
And I agree Tarantino and DD is not the best mix, but surely it would be extremely interesting!
And how about the wachowski brothers? they are the perfect directors for an action movie! and also they would know how give a dark a atmosphere as in some scenes of Matrix (the first one, the best)
(by the way, another fail in the first DD movie are the fights... after watching Matrix...well...) |

In my opinion, the reason the Batman films sucked after Batman Returns is that Schumacher was trying to copy the quirkiness present in all Tim Burton movies. Burton was able to direct a superhero movie in his own style. And if you watch Memento, The Prestige, and Nolan's other films. You would know that he did not pass on his artistic integrity. QT is too much a genius to not go by with what people expect from a superhero movie or a QT movie.

I don't think he has been mentioned on this thread. But Del Toro whom is interested on DD would be a good fit for the reboot.

I believe that the article you referenced is a wee bit out of date. Like 2004. I would imagine everyone has moved on from then.
