As promised, here's a new interview with Andy Diggle at CBR conducted by Dave Richards:
'With all the hardship Matt Murdock has been through in his life, why didn't he end up a bad guy?' And I think that question really gets to the core of Matt Murdock as a human being. Why didn't he become a bad guy? So I thought it would be really interesting to explore that question, and see what would happen if you pushed him. Tempted him."

Just a quick fact sheet:
SHADOWLAND is its own separate 5 issue mini series. DAREDEVIL will continue to be published at the same time.
SHADOWLAND will be written by Andy Diggle and drawn by Billy Tan.
DAREDEVIL will be written by Diggle and Antony Johnston w/ art by Roberto De La Torre (arc will be titled "In the Shadows" and run from DAREDEVIL
#508-#511)
There will also be several one-shots and mini-series based on characters in SHADOWLAND (with unannounced titles and creative teams). _________________ Kuljit Mithra

That looks rather painful for Spider-Man. |

That's a cool image.
I like the idea that this is going to feature a lot of Marvel's "darker", street-level characters - but it does strike me as odd that it's going to come out at the same time as Marvel is trying to launch the lighter, brighter "Heroic Age". |

When I first read this, I was instantly reminded of the DD: Man Without Fear mini by Miller and Romita.
First issue had an intro piece (either by Miller or Ralph Macchio) that basically said or asked the same question, "Matt has all the reasons to be a bad guy, so why didn't he become one?"
I don't know if Diggle has ever read that, but I thought that was very intriguing. |

The images of upcoming DD Mr. Wacker posted on his twitter are absoluetly stunning! I'm hardpressed to even find words to begin expressing my awe at the de la Tore page in particular - and it's not even colored yet. Wow...................

#3 is DD 30 | Those are pretty nice homeges. Thanks for looking up the original issue the promos were based on. I hope we have more throughout the week. Some these have been so good I actually wish they'd take the place of Cassadays covers |
