Let's re-hash an age-old comic book forum thread. Because I'm very interested to see. Daredevil fans by definition have good taste so I want to know what you're reading.

Me, I've streamlined my list as much as possible in recent months. I am not reading Reborn or Black Panther but will probably get the trades. As of today, these are my only monthlies:

Marvel:
Secret Warriors
SHIELD

I just don't enjoy the Marvel Universe very much right now. But I do like Jonathan Hickman's work on Nick Fury.

DC:
Batman, Inc
Batman and Robin
Detective Comics
Red Robin
Batgirl

What can I say, I love what the Batman office at DC has been churning out recently. Their titles have been very good ever since Morrison joined a few years ago and influenced things creatively. Even something like Batgirl is a delightful read.

Vertigo:
Sweet Tooth

Post-apocalyptic fun. I probably should be pulling more Vertigo titles but that's an age-old lament for many comic fans, I think.

These are always fun to do every few years. I trade wait but here is my trade pull (order from Amazon) list:

Marvel:
Daredevil
Astonishing X-Men
X-Men Legacy

DC:
Morrisson's Batman (whatever series/mini-series that might be).

Image:

Invincible
Walking Dead

Vertigo:
Fables
Jack of Fables (while it lasts)
Sweet Tooth

Other:
The Boys
Battlefields
RSAL

Wow. That's not very much. Add to the above, however, anything else Morrisson feels like writing and anything that takes place in the Invincible of Fables universe. I'm also thinking of getting into Morning Glories (comparisons to Lost = sounds good to me) and maybe Hickman's FF. Also any Umbrella Academy that eventually comes out. I'm sort of wavering on Sweet Tooth. At this point it's all doom and gloom. I'm waiting for a hook that makes it something more than sad characters being awful to each other.

Did some more streamlining of my pulls. Basically, I want to spend a lot of time reading back issues of DD and other books that I haven't gotten a chance to read yet.

So...

Monthlies
------------
DC:
- Morrison's Batman, Inc
- Snyder's Detective
- Miller's Batgirl
- Rozum's Xombi (an AWESOME series)
- Cornell's Action Comics
- Roberson's Superman
Vertigo:
- Nada
Marvel:
- Nada, until Waid starts his run on DD

Back Issues
--------------
- Chichester's DD -- this guy is just a good writer. Enjoying his run a lot. I've been meaning for years to read his run after I left DD post-Nocenti and came back for Kevin Smith (blah)
- Ennis' Hitman -- this series is so fun to read. I wish I read it when it was a monthly.
- Johns' Blackest Knight and Brightest Day -- I want to get caught up on DCU continuity. And these are necessary stories to lead into Johns' Aquaman series that will begin in the fall. I love Aquaman and think Johns will knock him out of the park.

So that's what I'm doing right now. Lots of changes recently.

DD Reborn (definitely getting the new series in summer)
Black Panther (it's basically a Daredevil book with BP in DD's place)
Avengers
New Avengers (at least for a few more months)
Avengers Academy
Thunderbolts
Secret Warriors (too bad its almost over)
FF
Osborn
Invincible Iron Man
Scarlet
Avengers: The Children's Crusade
Fear Itself

I quit reading DC immediately after Infinite Crisis. I finally decided I was sick of all the BS retcons and resurrections. I'm much more interested in events that have lasting effects, like Civil War, Secret Invasion, and Dark Reign.

Daredevil: Reborn
Kick Ass 2
The Avengers
Secret Avengers
Uncanny X-Men
Amazing Spider-Man
Heroes for Hire

I can't wait for DD volume 3.

Not much of a poster but here goes

Marvel:
DD: Man without Fear (still have not read the BP issues)
Invincible IM
Fantastic 4
Captain America
Secret Avengers (may drop at end of current subscription)
New Avengers
Avengers

Mini: Fear Itself...so far

Will get:
Daredevil #1
Maybe the new Captain America #1

DC:
Flash (starting to loose my patience)

Used to be a much larger DC reader but Identity Crisis put me off. Dropped the Batman due to Morrison - just don't care for him.

Cheers
