Hi to all Fans Without Fear,

As views of my Fan Collection approach the 2000 mark, I just wanted to say a big thank you to all who've enjoyed the pics.
A bit of history...
I started collecting all things DD in 1985 when a Canadian friend sent me the Secret Wars DD figure. It was hard at the time, as we only had one comic shop in Western Australia! Remember, this was in the days before the internet. I plugged away regardless, snapping up every bit of DD merch that I could find.
I came close to giving up on Hornhead when Nocenti put him in armour, and breathed a massive sigh of relief when he went back to the red.
Then came the internet...
Gradually I was able to build up my collection to (more or less) where it is now.
Then came the movie... less said the better.
Then came eBay... Don't even ask what I've spent there!
Then came Shadowland. I'm sure I'm not the only one who threw his hands up in the air when they first saw the "DD impales Bullseye" poster. Anyway, like all true Devil's Advocates, I persevered, and it turns out it was worth it, with the current run being up there with the best, in my opinion.
In closing, thanks again for the views: I almost feel validated in my spending! Thanks especially to Kuljit for this awesome site and all he's done for DD fans everywhere.
