There seems to be some increased traffic on the board recently so I thought it'd be a good time to throw up a "what's everybody reading?". My current list is:

Daredevil
Fables
Fairest
Legenderry
Morning Glories
Saga
Batman
The Wake
Prophet
Suicide Risk
Stray Bullets: Killers
Juice Squeezers
East of West
Uncanny Avengers
The Shadow: Year One
The Shadow: Midnight in Moscow

I'm kinda ready for Fables, etc. to end even though it's been a great ride. I just finished Uncanny X-Force and am blown away by how amazing Remender is (who knew?). His Uncanny Avengers is pretty great so far too. The books I am wildly excited about month after month are Stray Bullets, Prophet, Batman and East of West.

Daredevil, of course!

Moon Knight (good, from a suggestion from a MWF post)

Guardians of the Galaxy (good, reading it so I can talk to my nephew!)

Lazarus (enjoying a lot)

Velvet (enjoying a lot)

She-Hulk (losing interest)

Silver Surfer (enjoying a lot)

Just bought Preacher, Fatale and East-West TBPs. Haven't started.

I haven't been reading many new comics these days. Been busy rereading millers early DD and the dark Phoenix saga along with the first hulk essential. The only new comics I've been reading are:

Black Widow( pretty good)
Daredevil (OK. Not bad but not great)
Punisher (pretty good)
Thunderbolts (don't have an opinion about it yet. Only read one issue)

Solo comics are just so expensive these days that I prefer to pick up the Graphic Novels of them instead.

Daredevil is the only comic I read consistently. I was picking up Ninja Turtles and Powerpuff Girls from IDW for my niece and nephew and would give those a read before I passed them on but the kids lost interest and they weren't worth buying for myself. Other than that I mostly collect trades.

Also, I know this is meant for comics, but since we're on the subject of reading, I'm also finishing up Stephen King's The Shining. I will probably have that done this weekend and then start on Doctor Sleep.

In terms of comics, just Daredevil, however...
The Aliens toy line from NECA has reignited my love of the franchise so I'm reading novels based on the Dark Horse comics all over again.

The comics that I'm enjoying the most right now are:
East of west
Saga
Lazarus
Black Science
Manhattan Projects

If you aren't reading Black Science, you should start. The first story arc ended last month, so the TPB will be out soon. Excellent series.

I'm also reading:
Manifest Destiny
MiracleMan
MPH
Trees
Iron Fist
Moon Knight
Daredevil

I just purchase the entire run of Master of Kung-Fu from www.missouricomics.com it's a great website that sells books individually or in lot sets. The comic lot sets are really reasonably priced and they offer 25% off if you like them on Facebook.

Walt Simonson's new title Ragnarok featuring his own unique take on Norse myths is set for release this month from IDW.

After a hiatus, Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo returns this fall in a new mini titled Senso. Very much looking forward to that.

And later this fall, Matt Wagner, one of the my favorite creators, returns to write and draw a new Grendel mini, Grendel vs. the Shadow. Very excited for this as well.

Oh, interesting. The Shadow is the only other character (besides DD) that I collect out of dumb habit. I haven't been blown away by Wagner's The Shadow: Year One but I'll probably pick this up too.

I'm undecided about picking up Nightcrawler and/or Cyclops. I sort of want to pick up the former out of an undying love for Claremont and the later out of an undying love for Cyclops but I'm not convinced.

Speaking of undying loves, Nocenti is apparently going to write a Klarion the Witch Boy. I loved Morisson's Klarion but I really didn't like Nocenti's Green Arrow. Still, Klarion is such a bizarre character it might be a good fit for Nocenti.

Yeah, that's nuts.

You should try adding Prophet to the list though. Given the other books you're collecting I bet you'd like it.

has anyone read Caliban by Garth Ennis? I bought the first 3 issues, but havent read them yet.

at the moment I read Original Sin which is quite interesting, and I can also recommend the ongoing Moon Knight title.

I'm actually surprised by the lack of Walking Dead or Invincible on anyone's list. I used to read both but dropped them when the quality dropped. Given the popularity of The Walking Dead you'd think someone would be reading it.
