Hello
I have a question.
Is STONE from the film "Elektra" based on a character from the daredevil comics? I remember reading that he was based on a character called Stone Chaste (or something like that) and I wanted to know if this was true. |

I'm still trying to figure out if "Elektra," from the film of the same name, is based on the Daredevil comic. Come to think of it, what about Daredevil??

Doesn't Stone show up towards the end of Miller's run, when Elektra gets resurrected? |

While there is a character named Stone in the Daredevil comics, the Stone in the Elektra movie is not the same.
The Stone in the comics is a member of the Chaste, the group of ninjas who are in battle with The Hand (which was in the Elektra movie as well).
I'd recommend reading Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller Vol.2 and 3 for more info on The Hand, Stone, Elektra etc. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

^ How did Stone look in the comics? Can you describe him?
And are you saying that the Stone in the film is an original character?
Does this mean the only characters in the film from the comics are
Stick
The Hand
Kirigi
Typhoid Mary

No. It doesn't. The Stick and the The Hand that appear in the movie are similar to the Stick and the The Hand that appear in the comic.
As I recall it the Kirigi from the movie is very, very different from the Kirigi from the comic. So much so that it should be considered a different character. Same goes, only double for Typhoid Mary. Calling the movie character Typhoid Mary was a act of enormous ridiculousness.
Tattoo is based on the New X-Men character of the same name (why not?). _________________ JC
