It was my birthday the other week, and my sister got me a nice book and then a surprise present. My surprise present this year was a box of Lucky Charms cereal!! Oh no, someone has stolen me Lucky Charms! Wow, something so ordinary for you lot across the pond, but they are like the proverbial rocking horse sh1te over here. She found them in the biggest department store in Birmingham, England!
The point of this is the following, they are probably the most expensive bowl of breakfast cereal in the world, because she paid £6 for a box of cereal. Now based on the current exchange rate this would work out at $11.50 for a box of cereals. Needless to say I finished them this morning, I even, out of principal and respect to my little sis, had all the dust and slack at the bottom of the bag!
I was searching another UK shop and found Fruit Loops for £5.75 ($10.98 ), bargain!
Out of pure perverse interest, how much to they retail for over the land of plenty?
Oh and Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your turkey, egg nog, sweet potato, cranberries, pumpkin pie, I'm running out of cliches that us Brits associate with Thanksgiving, so enjoy! _________________ Always Out-Manned, Never Out-Gunned |
