Did anyone else read #2 this week? Seriously, this is an incredible read and I'm not even an Iron Fist fan. I'm clueless about his history really. I hope we see DD in these pages in the future. I think Aja does a great DD. I love the Luke appearance and, even more, I love the Night Nurse appearance! You have to pick this up! After reading it, I was in the mood for some Chinese for dinner. Nothing like cheap Chinese food.

Clayton, I echo your sentiments on Brubaker's Iron Fist! I'm almost intrigued to the point of picking up the Essential Iron Fist TPB to educate myself on Danny Rand's back story. Between DD, Iron Fist, and Criminal Brubaker's books comprise 3/5ths of my current pull list! (I've been reading his Uncanny X-Men as well although I'm guilty of reading my friend's copy on that title). _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

Iron Fist was awesome this week. The Danny/Luke conversation was great. I always loved when they appeared together under Bendis and now Brubaker smoothly nails the friendship perfectly.
One question:
Does the mini take place after Civil War because people over at www.UltimateCentral.com are wondering what the deal with him out of costume and Luke still talking about unregistered heroes having a hard time. _________________ A man without hope is a man without fear

I can't answer that, but I can tell you that this is an ongoing title, not a mini.

C. | Keep forgetting that. Not that it matters because as long as it's out it's on my pull. _________________ A man without hope is a man without fear

I can not remcommed Iron Fist enough. I am really getting a kick out of the little side bits of those who have been Iron Fist. I would like to see more on them, not mini-series or one-shots, but just expanded on more in the book. AJA's art is great. It has a nice smooth, kenetic flow to it. He handles the action scenes very well. _________________ I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day
