For those who are interested, there's a preview of Backissue #21 up at newsarama. Looks quite interesting for DD fans...

In particular, this reinforces what Kuljit has said previously about the importance of Klaus Janson's contribution. I didn't realise he had such an extensive part to play in the art!

"By the end of his run, Frank Miller was doing simple layouts on small sheets of papers, a process he began with issue #185. Klaus Janson was drawing, inking, and coloring the book. "

I love Klaus' work. He still has "it" and I'm looking forward to his contribution to the DD "End" project. A few years back he drew a great Batman series, Batman: Death and the Maidens written by one of my favorites Greg Rucka. A 9-parter that was supposed to be the last Ra's story, but we all know about the business called "death in comics."

I can't wait to pick up my copy today.

I just want to jump in and agree that this was a great series! The art and writing are top notch! I recommend it to anyone who likes or might like Batman.
