You may have noticed some changes to the front page of the site (quotes from DD creators, thumbnails for previews etc.)
I plan to add a "Did you know?" blurb, much like the creator quotes, scattered throughout the site for new DD readers.
Anything you think would be cool, please post here.
Example: "Bullseye was created by Marv Wolfman and John Romita, Sr., and first appeared in Daredevil Vol. 1 #131."
Thanks! _________________ Kuljit Mithra

How many countries has DD been to?
I'm not sure, but it's quite a few I think. You could add that. |

What about:
The Kingpin had been a major enemy of Spider-Man for 14 years prior to his becoming Daredevil's arch nemesis in 1981.
This is assuming that issue 170 was his 1st appearance in DD. _________________ It's never too late to have a happy childhood! |

Let's see. He has been in UK, Canada, Japan, Vietnam, France, Italy, Switzerland, Monaco, Portugal...
...Then also imaginary countries: Latveria, Lichtenbad (don't ask), Delvadia... |

Wasn't he also in Mexico? Oh, and he's also been in space. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

Space eh? Who ever said he wasn't ambitious
I think that was fairly early on in his career. Didn't Dr. Doom send him there? |

I don't think Matt's been to Mexico. You are probably thinking about Karen Page in Born Again.
I think DD went to space when he was fighting Electro, ah Stan Lee, what were you thinking? _________________ rgj |

I think it was during Gerry Conway, but that may have been this side of the border when I think about it. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

You're probably thinking of the story where DD had to rescue some diplomat from El Condor, in V1 #75. I thought that took place in some other country, but I can't remember if it was in Mexico or not. _________________ It's never too late to have a happy childhood! |

Yes, that's what I was thinking of. I got the idea that it was supposed to be Mexico, but it could have been a border town stateside or just a different country entirely. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

You guys are thinking of Delvadia, which I think was mentioned to be in South America. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

Strange. I can't seem to find that in my atlas. _________________ It's never too late to have a happy childhood! |

Yeah, Marvel geography is strange that way... "It's not just bad, it's Lichtenbad!"
To get this thread back on track, here are some random DD factoids, off the top of my head:
1) Writer Tony Isabella has taken credit for being the one who "outed" Matt as a Catholic in "They're tearing down Fogwell's gym!" (#119)
2) While Foggy's place of birth has never been stated, his parents were living in Akron, Ohio at the time of his wedding.
3) Daredevil #8 marks the first appearance of the now iconic "radar rings" emanating from DD's head. It's also the first time we see him drive.
Hmm... I'll try to think of some more. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |
