If you've read the interview I posted with Mark Waid earlier this week at ComiXology, you know that Marcos Martin will not be returning to DD after his arc finishes with issue 6.
Who would you like to see come onboard?
My choice is Chris Samnee. What about you? _________________ Kuljit Mithra

Chris Samnee would be an OK choice with me.
From Marvel's current crop of artists, I like:
Jerome Opena
Emma Rios
Juan Jose Ryp
David Aja
Off the top of my head,

Chris Samnee would be great.
I also like Mitch Breitweiser's work. http://mbreitweiser.deviantart.com/ I got a sketch from him at a recent con in Little Rock. _________________ Alice

I was thinking about him after I posted...
He's not a monthly guy so it might be good for him to be in an art rotation, and I think he would be a good fit with Daredevil.
The only downside I could think of -- is his style too different from Paolo Rivera to be a good fit? Does it even matter?

I agree on Samnee if your continuing in the vein or more cartooning styles like rivera and martin. Francavilla would work too.
I'd LOOOOOOVE to see Butch Guice or Steve Epting.
Breitweiser and Aha rotating would be sweet. |

It's almost as if Marvel was listening to us.
Now we just need Wacker here to give people a hard time.
Except, everybody's pretty nice around here.

It would be a slight change of pace from the current style, but I'd like to see Marco Santucci draw some issues.
A one-shot by Stefano Caselli would also be intriguing. |

I would like to see McDaniel or Tan again. Deodato would also be great. |

I've always had a love for David Finches art after seeing his work on Moon Knight and Batman and Clayton Crane for his original work on Toxin and Carnage. If you asked me two years ago without a doubt either would be cool but now i can't imagine them with the tone. idk, someone with dynamic and fun art without being goofy and can also incorporate the radar interpretations well. |

I was thinking that maybe after Waid's run (which I'm enjoying so far and don't want to see it end anytime soon) we could have a rotating cast of creators for about a year or so, like they did between the Smith/Quesada and Bendis/Maleev runs. Artists I'd like to see for that are Ben Templesmith, Ashley Wood, David Mack (again) and Bill Sienkiewicz. Oh and maybe Mike Mignola. |
