The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.

Daredevil is a completely different character than batman. First of all batman is more of a force of nature while daredevil is the working mans super hero. Batman is completely dedicated to eradicating crime, while daredevil knows thats impossible and just tries to improve the quality of life for the people of Hell's Kitchen

Batman extensively expands his influence with assistants who he controls tightly (Robins, Batgirl, Huntress, etc.) and he exploits his contacts and resources to extend his reach outside even Gotham (JLA, Omac, etc.).

Meanwhile, Daredevil his mostly a solo act, except for his occasional superhero friend who is an adult with his/her own overall agenda, just looking to lend a hand (e.g. Spidey, Cage, Black Widow, etc.). (Even when Matt does "train" a superhero, he does so more to help that person and their crusade, rather than trying to make them adopt his crusade. E.g. With the new White Tiger, Matt was ubercool in helping her out. He definitely gave the impression that this is her fight and she can't be his sidekick. This is exactly opposite of how Batman trains the likes of Batgirl, Robin, etc.)

Also, if DD/Matt comes across some resources (e.g. the recent lawsuit against the Globe), he usually uses this opportunity to improve the quality of life for Hell's Kitchen, rather than gaining more control and influence for himself to control crime. (Then again, Bruce also builds the occasional charity library, etc. ...Maybe it's just that Bruce has infinitely more money than Matt will ever have. So, he goes for charity and funding his war. Still, I figure the later is Bruce's priority, while I'd say the former is Matt's priority.)
