That is a really bad angle for DD. He looks like he has man-boobs

Editorial is getting very lax with what's going on the covers of the book. Bitc--ho on that one sign, fully nu-- girls, and sex. The art is lacking, so you have to put that junk on there to attract readers to the inside?

Sorry, the cover art after #500 has just been terrible. Guess I got spoiled by Djurdjevic and Maleev and expect better.

Oh yeah. Manboobs on #503, and toothless DD on #501. Bleh.

I like the composition, though.

Well, we sort of have to wait to see what's inside. If the story revolves around DD taking down a prostitution ring or something the cover will make sense.

Yeah, it may be that there's a direct link between those elements and the content of the issue.

Also, I imagine that most of the more suggestive content will be obscured by the Daredevil logo on the final cover.

Marko Djurdjevic whipped out awesome covers, true. However, on this very message board people argued as to where Foggy Nelson is on the cover of issue #500 because he didn't look right in that cover. So, let me play the Devil's advocate because I love Esad Ribic's covers, and say as well that we cut him a bit of slack. Honestly though, #503 is my least favorite of the three so far. I love #501! The first time I saw it, my head spun because I was thinking of reasons why Matt would have Master Izo on a headlock. Well we all know more or less why. And toothless? I don't get that. Joe Quesada-ish DD? That is what I see. Check this Marvel Knights cover and leaf through Guardian Devil and you will see more "toothless" DD. Thanks guys, much love...

That Quesada art always made me think of people with either no teeth or bad dentures, too. (Like my dad.) I'll still buy the issues, whether I like the cover or not. Maleev put out some really generic covers at times over his run, but overall I like his better than most.

Alex Maleev's art is just awesome. I totally get you there Darediva. I love Maleev's covers on #43, #46, #67, #70, and #71. But my most favorite is Daredevil v2 #66, Maleev depicted the best DD in yellow costume ever. And that image just leaps out! Great, great art!

Let's hope Esad Ribic whips out covers like this.

Maybe they could have Torre do the covers too. These are terrible. We have been spoiled.

I really enjoyed Ribic's work on Silver Surfer: Requiem and Loki, but his covers here don't really fit with the rest of the product. I agree with acnelson - Marko Djurdjevic (and Alex Maleev before him) DID spoil us!

The color tones though help the book stand out more on the racks.
