Here's some interesting tweets from Slade from a little while back

1. When another user posted this fancast:
http://slackerheroes.com/jj/2011/08/22/daredevil-faux-casting/

Slade replied: "Interesting, but I think its a mistake to choose actors in part because they look like the illustrations"

2. When the user then asked how DD was coming on, Slade replied: "Christopher Nolan has shown us you can have complete respect for the cannon of work and re invent at the same time."

Personally, I think its very good that hes not weighing the whole choice of actors on physical appearance. (fingers crosses Michael C Hall isnt Slade fav choice either)

Im also curious to see what goes in the film from Born Again, and what gets left out (Im betting Nuke is going in the recycle bin lol)

A few months back I asked writer Brad Caleb Kane what was his favourite quote from BORN AGAIN, and he replied "Who's gonna talk about Matt Murdock?"

He also tweeted a few days ago about what a superhero-themed WIRE show would be like. If they can get a DD movie to have any qualities from that show, that'd be awesome. All the pieces are in place. Hopefully they can put it together.

no prob Guardian Devil Smile

haha thats a good pick from Brad Caleb Kane. I love that part. Matt just totally loses control.

you think maybe the Wire tweet was a reference to his DD script?
If you ever decide to tweet him again, maybe you could ask him some questions about the movie or the questions that some members on here posted.

I am really looking forward to this more and more. Just watched Hard Candy again the other day and forgot how artistic David Slade is.

^personally, I think if this film is to have the same quality or success as The Dark Knight or Iron Man, then real actors should be cast, rather then wrestlers-turned-actors, singers-turned-actors, etc...

Physically he would look the part, but imo that would be as far as it goes.

I'd rather they chose a better actor, even if he does not look identicial to Fisk.

yes, but not other M. C. Duncan. I think the same can not but have to look Kingpin. Like the actor protagonist has to look like Matt Murdock.

to me, the kingpin question would be the easiest to answer..

there was a movie called "ninja assassin" in 2009. and It just happened to had Stephen Marcus in it, who played a character even credited as "kingpin".

just watch that:

how much more kingpin can someone actually be? Cool

Yeah! Stephen Marcus is much better actor than Glenn Jacob. But Jacob is more in the age of Wilson Fisk. Even so, it would be a great choice.
