I attended Megacon 2014 in Orlando yesterday and was really looking forward to meeting Mark Waid and expressing my thanks for a great run of "Daredevil". Unfortunately, just like 2013, he had to cancel a few days before the convention and did not make it for the SECOND year in a row.

I still had a good time and was able to meet a few Artists and Writers and started a new "quest" - to get "Daredevil" known artists to sketch DD villains for me on Daredevil #1 blank variant cover. Though not really a villain, I could not pass up the chance to start my project with Elektra as done by Bill Sienkiewicz. Wow, it was the first sketch I have gotten with color (his choice) and it is a very mesmerizing sketch.

I have posted on this site before my quest to get as many sketches and/or signatures from "Daredevil" (and "Amazing Spider-man") Artists and Writers on blank variants so now I have added DD (and Spider-man) villains to my "collection".

Next weekend I am heading to Seattle for Emerald City Comic Con where there will be lots more chances to meet DD artists and writers including Ann Nocenti!

The Sienkiewicz sketch is quite good and I'm so jealous. Thanks for posting. Looking forward to your ECCC haul. Have a good one!

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
