Does anyone know the variant cover print ratio for V.4 issue 1? I think the Skottie Young cover is great. Hoping that its somewhat common, so I can get a copy. |

The DAREDEVIL #1 variant by Paolo Rivera will be 1:50.
The Alex Ross variant will be 1:75.
Stores need to increase their orders by 175% to get a Chris Samnee animal variant and 200% for the Skottie Young variant.
The Ross sketch cover is 1:300. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

I've been paying more attention to the numerous variants for Vol 4, issue 1. I don't have much of a life because I enjoy watching the bidding process on them on ebay. The black and white sketch by Alex Ross just sold for $230 and one for $225.
I noticed there are two "golden" variants for Vol 4 issue 1 on this website, one in color and one in black and white. I haven't seen any of these on ebay Anyone know the story?
Thanks,
Grinchiedog.
p.s. just saw the rumour of Michael Hall playing DD. He is one of my wife's lust objects (the other being Darryl on the Walking Dead). If it is Hall, she and I could watch the show together - she isn't a comic fan but maybe this will get her going. _________________ GrinchieDog |

You'll probably see the Michael Golden covers on eBay this weekend, as they are only available at the Wizard World show in Louisville, which is March 28-30.
Limited to 3000 and 2500 copies. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

Thanks Kuljit. One more question. For the Paolo Rivera variant which shows a maze like depiction of the city, I've seen a black and white version and also a colored version on this website. But it looks like the B/W version is the one available on ebay. Do you know if there is a colored version for sale or is it just the B/W one. Thanks, Grinchiedog _________________ GrinchieDog |

- Ross 1:75 Non-sketch Cover
- Skottie Young Cover

I have bought on eBay, but not yet received:

Waiting for:

- Michael Golden WW Sketch Cover

When the previews first went out, the image had a blue background, but the one that was printed is the B&W one.
I got 5 of the covers (no sketch or Wizard covers). _________________ Kuljit Mithra

Thanks. I bought the b/w one at my LCS for $15 today. Then I went to the LCS (that I don't care for much) and they were charging $25 for it.
It seemed like my LCS looked up the price in the computer to come up with $15, which I think is the supplier recommended retail price(?). Is the other shop gouging or is it common for shops to charge more than the supplier says? _________________ GrinchieDog |
