What did we all think of this line? To me, it's the time I groaned and rolled my eyes the most during Waid's run. First of all, the line is "nice piece of work" and not "nice work." Second of all, it's probably the third in-joke referencing how pathetic of a character Stiltman is and it's more than a bit tired by that point. Third, the Born Again line came from Matt's inner monologue. Did Matt really tell Foggy the exact line that popped into his head when his house exploded and Foggy thought that it was something that he could make light of later on?
It be like in Godfather 3 if Michael was cracking jokes with Andy Garcia's character. Pacino eats the last piece of pie and Vincent goes, "I know it was you, Michael!" and Pacino finishes the line with "you broke my heart" and they bust out into belly laughter.
