Yeah, they're all over! It's like the Masons. Cas - who also posts on these boards - is not from far away either. |

Hi DD board
This is my first post here. Im theVman and have recently become a fan of the Marvel Knights DD series. For Christmas of 2004 my friend brought me the Kevin Smith Gaudian Devil graphic novel (im a massive kevin smith fan) and i F*cking loved it. I have now ordered series of the trades off the intenet and have just finished Parts of a Hole. just about to start Wake Up and have Out waiting - also have also ordered Underboss but that hasn't arrived yet.
i think the reason a love DD is because, unlike some super heroes, he's so vunerable. All the others are known for what the can do (spidey can shoot webs, superman can fly etc) whereas DD is known for the fact he can't do - see. Also he seems more human like in the movie he'd rather go have sex with a gorgoues woman than save an old lady getting mugged in an alley. THATS REAL.
Im one of those people that once I get obsessed by something I find out everything and learn about it real quick. Ive only been into DD comics for about a month but I've already learnt about FranK Millers run in Vol1 and how in introduced and killled ELEKTRA, and also about how DD had several different suits. But Im still learning so go easy on me in future posts if a seem a bit out the loop on something. |

hello dude, nice to see i'm not a newbie around here anymore. but on the movie, rent the Director's Cut if you haven't seen it yet. it shows his detective skills and laywering skills MUCH better. and...it gives you a better sense of just why DD's love life just so truly stinks, TRULY. not just J.Garner eye candy.
see yah round the block! and have fun!

I would love to see DD the DIRECTORS CUT - but it's not avaiable in the UK yet - a magazine has said it will be released but no ones seems to know when. _________________ "While viewing the extinction of the human race from the top of a hill, I would dig a hole in the earth and ejaculate into it over and over."

How's it goin. I'm sorta new here. I've posted here and there. I've been into comics for a while, mainly Spidey and Iron Man. I knew who DD was and after I saw the movie I decided to shell out the extra cash to buy the King Of Hells Kitchen first issue. Been on steady since then and I've got TPB 1-6 and Essential 1. DD is probably the best written/illustrated book ou there. I think Bendis/Maleev is a great team (which seem rare today) I plan on getting some Miller TPBs soon. (Must find Money) |

I forgot how new I am...but anyway..
I'm in my late 20s and have been reading and following Daredevil on and off since I was about 10 or 11. I had even fashioned a costume for myself back them (made of red sweats of course) |

Hello. My 2nd post. Should have started here, oh well.
Like I have said in a previous post, I am reading Daredevil from the begining through my brother self pro-claimed entire Daredevil collection. I don`t know much about the guy other than what little I have seen of a few new issues, but they blew me away. He talked me into getting into reading Marvel comics from the begining and one of the titles I chose of course is Daredevil.
So I hope its OK for me to post my thoughts and whatnot on the old issues. I`ve only read #`s 1-11 so far.
I have a long jouney ahead of me... wish me luck. |

best of luck to you! you'll have a great trip to read some of this stuff from the beginning. actually, i'm a little jealous of you getting to read this stuff for the first time. if you start to get burnt out, don't just give up. check the recommended reading section on this website for the cream of the crop. you won't be disappointed. |

I don`t think I`ll get burned-out, at least I hope not. I`m not going to sit down and read as many as I can at each sitting. I`ll take it easy.

hi all,
i'm graham from scotland and i'm new to this site. i have been a big fan of daredevil for a while, gotta love his spirit, takes on the bad guys with relatively little power and does not back down. gotta love it.
i think bendis's run has been interesting but i'm glad hes moving on, i think if kept on daredevil the title could become a wee bit stale.
i also think he will be and i hope he is in the new avengers, bendis has hinted at this himself in interviews. but thats for another thread.... _________________ when walking just walk, when sitting just sit, above all don't wobble. |

I don`t think he will be in the Avengers myself but I know they need to get one of the Spider heros out. One too many spiders I say. |

Hello DD Board, This is my very first post here at teh forums. I first became interested in Daredevil when i saw the movie when it first came out...i thought, wow this looks like pretty cool movie. sooo, of course i went out to see the movie and i thought....geez what an awesome movie. Ever since then, ive been a loyal fan of Daredevil. now since the movie is on DVD, i have both the movie and the directors cut. Just about a year ago, i started to collect the comics. I am very energetic about #70 coming out this month. so far i have only been collecting the comics from volume 2...i also only have about 3 comics from the first volume. My favorite DD writer would probably have to be Brian Michael Bendis.
My daredevil obsession doesn't stop there. I also have about 2 going on 3 DD t-shirts. my desktop wallpaper pic shows none other than daredevil spying down from the cross on top of St. Catherine's church (i think thats the name of the church; it was mentioned in the latest comic #69).
I Hope to Post here more with my favorite daredevil website! |

Hi, i'm Daniel, i have been a big fan of daredevil since I saw the movie, which I thought it was cool, I like this character a lot because of everything he is. Im 15 years old and i really dont know if thats too old for reading comic books but anyway Im hoping DD gets a major role and his own series in the ultimate universe. |
