Issue Summary

Matt enters the Nelson and Murdock offices through the window, in full costume and Foggy walks in moments later. Foggy goes nuts asking Matt what would have happened if it wasn't him who walked in. Matt has to do his routine of explaining his heightened senses to Foggy once more. Of course to showcase this talent of his, Matt puts his mask back on and opens the door to the office just before Liz Osborn (Mrs. Green Goblin) has knocked. Matt leaves and Foggy and Liz get to talking. A new love interest for Foggy perhaps? Later on, Matt joins Karen at a coffee shop and they talk about how Karen's job search is going. Matt realizes Karen is lying to him about the progress, but he leaves it for now. Ben Urich and Peter Parker walk by and Matt talks with them. Matt asks Peter if he is still taking pictures of Spider-Man, and then coincidently "Spider-Man" is spotted swinging overhead. Matt asks Peter if he is sure that it is Spider-Man, since Matt knows Peter 'is' Spider-Man. Matt says he has an urgent appointment to go run off to, but all three people there know he is Daredevil and they all try to cover for him. Classic stuff. Now in costume, Matt catches up to Spider-Man, well, Spider-Ben if you prefer, and asks him to explain who he is. Ben explains the clone business to DD. However, both Spider-Man and DD sense some trouble and sure enough, a shotgun blasts away the perch where they were sitting. A really dumb villain named Shooter shows up and wants to kill DD, so he can get a rep. The fighting sequences are hilarious. Of course Shooter is defeated and both heroes go on their merry way. And later still, Matt shows up at Rosalind Sharpe's office and has to put up with 'Razor's' pretending she is not in the room. Matt has enough of her games and gives her a little tap on the ankle with his cane 'accidently'. The discussion ensues about her offer from last issue, and Matt accepts the invitation to join the firm. Sharpe, knowing that Matt would accept, had already picked a client for Matt. Matt's first client is Mr. Hyde.
