Issue Summary

Summary by Michael Deeley

Spectrum refuses to talk to either Captain America or Daredevil, ending their fight before it starts. Daredevil leaves, while Cap and Federal prosecutor Kathy Malper try talking to Spectrum. He stops by Foggy Nelson's office, briefly mourns his old life, then looks for Elektra. That's when he learns the Empire State Building has been captured by terrorists. Wirehead and hired guns are holding the building hostage under the guise of the "Silicon Pirates". Daredevil sneaks in and crosses paths with Silver Sable. She's leading her Wild Pack against the snipers on the roof. DD heads for the basement to capture Wirehead. After a chase through the ventilation system, Wirehead escapes. Daredevil is left feeling these recent tech-themed crimes are related.

The story also mentions the death of a character called "Phreak". He wasn't seen in the previous issue. Perhaps this happened in another Marvel comic. Or it was a mistake made by writer Gregory Wright. "Phreak" might be a minor villain from 'Web of Spider-Man' #35-36, or a character from 'Deathlok' Vol. 2 #22.
