Issue SummarySummary by Gloria Porta
The Wrecking Crew and Mr. Fear's men fight a battle in the streets of Hell's Kitchen. Daredevil watches it from the top of a building, and does nothing. And unless an innocent bystander gets caught in the middle, he will remain quiet. His aim is waiting for someone relevant to show up, and lead him to Larry Cranston, for now his main concern is to find the man who poisoned Milla, so he can get an antidote to Fear's maddening drugs.
At the offices of the District Attorney, Assistant D.A. Algren interrogates Lily Lucca about her changing her story of what happened in the underground. Foggy is there to give her some legal back-up "as a friend" for, as Algren points, she must get her own attorney as Foggy can't counsel both Milla -as the accused- and Lily -as a witness-.
Lily declares that when the police first interrogated her, she was too shocked by the whole thing, and that Milla actually slipped, and never pushed her intentionally. Algren has his doubts, but Lily uses her pheromone power to convince him, Foggy watches it all uncomfortably: He's not happy with the proceedings... even though he says nothing, as this may help to save Milla. Later, Lily tells Foggy she wants to visit Milla, but Foggy discourages her to do so, as Milla was openly hostile to her, and a visit would only make matters worse.
Matt is concerned about Milla's condition, which doesn't seem to get better, in spite of Matt's attempts to help her to relax and focus, and the constant care of Elsa, the live-in Nurse. She picks a knife while she's cooking breakfast, and Matt takes it from her, in fear that she might hurt herself with it. An argument ensues and Elsa has to sedate Milla. Matt feels powerless and also somewhat uncomfortable about having the nurse at home.
In a garage at Hell's Kitchen, small-time crooks Merv and Chico are fixing a car in order to leave town. Daredevil shows up and warns them not to do so: they agreed to be his eyes on the streets in order to avoid prison. They inform Matt where to get a doctor, concretely "Doc Parker", who runs an illegal clinic to treat wounded supervillains.
At Doc Parker's, Daredevil finds Fancy Dan recovering from his wounds. Dan, along with Doc Parker, attemp to stop Daredevil, but to no avail. Daredevil asks Fancy Dan to tell him where he can find OX... or else.
Later, DD watches a meeting a meeting with Ox and a number of Fear's thugs to distribute his drugs. A police riot squad gets there to arrest them. Ox leaves the place, but gets bumped by a taxi... driven by Matt.
Lily arrives to Matt and Milla's home. She's about to leave a bouquet of flowers with a note, but then changes her mind and decides to pay a visit to Milla as well. Elsa the nurse is a bit surprised, as she wasn't expecting anybody to come.
Ox wakes up in a warehouse: he's tied tightly with chains. Matt tells him that they have crossed the line by targeting his people, and will do whatever he needs to find Mr. Fear. Ox looks pretty scared as Matt says that while he's lighting an acetylene welding torch.
