Wilbur Day died a whle ago, so I thought I would ask if there was any way Stilt-Man could have fit in the post Miller DD world, besides as a joke? |

Have a psychotic killer escape from a mental asylum and stumble in a refuge where the late Wilbur Day was storing what would've been the ultimate version of his stilt-man armor, meant for his grand revanche. Complete with multiple lasers, buzz saws, missiles and flamethrower, not to mention improved adamantium plating, hyper-sophisticated stabilizing system and other enhancements.
Then, have him on a killing spree with said armor. Be sure to depict him as a bloodthirsty sadistic f**k, and to show innocent shredded by lasers (ala Resident Evil Movie), torched alive, crushed by the hydraulic stilts.
Then throw DD in the middle.
Oh, and... be sure to have the psycho kill Becky Blake. |

How could one revamp Stilt man? T he guy even had Adamatium stilts at one stage but todefeat him you just knocked the guy off balance.Maybe if his stilts were more flexable and he did more than just raise or lower the stilts.I belive it is posasible to revamp the character with a fresh beginning and modified stilts with guns or something.Give the guy some "little man " syndrone to provide a reason why he likes to tower over the meek. His armour definitly needs some thing as its like watching the speeders circle the walker from the Empire Strikes Back .Well thats my two cents worth cheers comic boy genius |

Yeah, revamping Stilt-man is a bit of a challenge. First of all, he has one major handicap in the supervillain department - he's incredibly silly-looking. Yeah, I know, there are other silly-looking villains, but Stilt-man is just... Well, it hard to respect the guy. And unless you do something about those long legs/stilts, all you really need to do is trip him and he'll fall over.
I'm sure a great writer could give him a make-over and do something with him (if he weren't dead), but the question is, why would anyone want to? It's not like there's some big vacuum for him to fill. And may I suggest some other villains I never want to see back on the pages of Daredevil? The Unholy Three. Animal costumes aren't really doing it for me... _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

That might true, but creating ideas to revamp him is fun. It is a challenge afterall.
Besides he doesn't have to stay a villain, he did reform before Punisher killed him. Perhaps he could have used his engineering skills to provide devices for either heroes or villains or something. |

Maybe they could be revamped/recycled into people dressing like the muppets (Yes, I'm stealing the idea from your fanfic ), I mean, the frog-man as Kermit, and so on

(now, seriously, that sounded like a stereotypical 90's storyline ) _________________ Gloria

Gloria, you want Stilt-man as a scary villain? Better be careful what you wish for. Because once he becomes scary he will necessarily do scary stuff. |

No, I just was pointing as an example of the past which Typolad just extracted from an old issue (click, click).
The Black Widow was scared, Typolad was scared, and the scene also scares the beejeezus outta me. _________________ Gloria

Now what's the context of that scene? Exactly what is Stilt-Man intending to do with that woman? |

Yeah, I don't want to think about how there might be a third stilt in there somewhere. And I can't belive I actually wrote that "out loud." _________________ The Other Murdock Papers

Yeah after that, I can say stilt-man was never scary, ever. Sorry Gloria. Block Widow could have just kicked stilt-man's back and beaten him, she shouldn't have scared of that loser.
You know the lamest thing about Stilt-Man is he has no motive, why did he decide to be a criminal, why didn't he use his engineering skills to earn money legitimately? Lame motives make for lame villains. Plus he never had a personality beyond being a loser. |
