I think the Beatles may have even admitted to being Skrulls in that song:
"I am the eggman, they are the eggmen..."
Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but if we apply some half-baked weird kind of logic to this, eggman could be seen as a code word for "pod person," and "pod people" are sort of a catch-all term for aliens, right? With me so far? So... who are the most high-profile aliens at the moment? Skrulls! The only question now is: Who are the other "eggmen"?
Speaking of which, I even saw some art of DD with a green cleft Skrull chin. It wasn't pretty, let me tell you. I'll see if I can find it and link it. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

Holy Diamond Stylus' Pickups, Batman! I think the Joker would laugh at this!
Back to topic: maybe Becky isn't a Skrull. She looks more like a Beach Boys girl:
I mean, being able to recognize a tune sang under someone's breath (and without super-hearing)!.
Unless, of course, you remember that the "Pet Sounds" album was considered by the Beatles as a Major influence in their work in Sergeant Pepper's...
...The plot sickens!
(no, the last sentence doesn't have a typo: I took it from Marvin Wolfman) _________________ Gloria

I remember in the mid-late 60's, the rumours flying that Paul McCartney was dead. There were supposedly all these clues floating around. On the cover of Abbey Road, Paul was the only one who was barefoot and was wearing a suit, could it be his burial suit? In the song Glass Onion, John sings "The Walrus was Paul", a supposed reference to Tibetan mytholology of the walrus as a symbol of death, although I'm pretty sure that John was actually the walrus. When playing the record backwards (can't do that today with CDs, sigh), at the end of the song Strawberry Fields, John supposedly says "I buried Paul", although I think what he really says is "cranberry sauce". There were many other "clues" bandied about amongst the fans and media. Some thought it was a publicity stunt, but now, 40 years later, the mystery is solved:

This is why I think it is good to keep a skeptic eye on those theories/stories, for I wonder how on earth a sea mammal like a walrus could get to the Himalayas and become a Tibetan symbol of anything
(a bit like when in the film "adaptation" of "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", the Nautilus travels to... Mongolia! -Nemo must have known some underground sea to get there, I imagine) _________________ Gloria

It wasn't the walrus who went to the Himalaya, it was the tibetan monks who visited the polar regions. |
