| Smokin' Aces had more problems than that. That movie had such potential, but IMO was kind of a let down. |

I actually though Jersey Girl was a darn cute movie. Then again, I'm a girl. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I guess it might. Either way, I didn't have any kind of prejudices against Kevin Smith before reading Guardian Devil.
Guardian Devil was among the first things I read when I got into Daredevil. If I hadn't read the Miller run first, I probably never would have picked up another Daredevil mag again. It just wasn't my cup of tea at all. On the other hand, I know of lots of people who came on board with that arc, and I'm not going to complain about that. For me, however, it was a total turn-off.

Meh. From a business stand point Marvel should have simply hired another writer to polish that turd once Smith broke his contract.

Well, Bendis did kind of take up the torch by just sticking Bullseye in the main book. Same with Bru. I think Target should just be considered to have been a one shot. Bullseye once killed a lady while talking to terrorists and then drew a bullseye on his head. End of story. All in all that has more of a beginning, middle and end than Guardian Devil did.
