|
|
I was reading this CBR report on Alex Maleev's Chicago Comic-Con panel, and I noticed this little piece of news (that came whilst Maleev was speaking about the Spider-Woman motion comic):
Quote: | If the "Spider-Woman" episode creates a successful model, Marvel may follow it up with another hero very familiar to Maleev. "I think they’re going to do Daredevil [as an] animation soon after they’re done with [Spider-Woman]," he said. |
Interesting news!
Personally, "motion comics" don't particularly appeal to me, since the ones that I've seen have felt like little more than cheap animations. For me, part of the enjoyment of comics is the creation of "moving" stories with static images.
Still, I'll be interested to see if Marvel go ahead with a DD "motion comic". |

Also, it's interesting to note that Maleev's wife was the model for Milla Donovan. I don't think I'd heard that before. |

Really, Dave? Where have you been? He wasn't married to her yet when he started using her as the reference for Milla.
He posted a wedding photo of them on the Bendis board, I think it was. _________________ Alice

Maybe I did hear about it back when he was working on the book - but if so, I forgot in the meantime. |

I actually like the idea. It's about as abstract as some of DD's previous comics. Take issues that first featured Echo or better yet Bendis's work on Leap Frog's son and the investigative reporter Ben Urich. Of all the comic characters in the MU this is a medium where "I" would think Daredevil should shine. _________________
