Lovely! The artisrty is simply lovely! Thanks for posting, Kuljit. I haven't taken a look at the dialogue yet. I'd like to save that for when I have the comic in my hands. I can't spoil everything.

Not to give too much away, but a couple of familiar names crop up in the letters page of this issue. |

odd, Daredevil apparently knows exactly how Milla, Dakota and Elektra would look like if he could see. |

I don't think that this is such a big problem. Matt's radar sense (and other senses) help him to create a pretty good picture of things without being able to actually see - and he's been close enough to all three women to have a pretty in-depth knowledge of what they might look like.
Not to mention the fact that Matt did get his sight back once, in DD #223 (courtesy of the Beyonder) - and it isn't inconceivable that he would have spent some of his time looking at photos of Elektra, at least.
Also, completely separately from the logic of the book itself, the sequence simply wouldn't work so well if it showed us vague shapes in Matt's mind, rather than images of the women themselves. |

No, it's not a big problem at all. It is a nice page, in fact.
Still, it rubs me the wrong way. |

I just had a chance to read #502 and I continue to be pleased with the new creative team of Diggle/De La Torre.
I wasn't surprised at all when Master Izo was revealed to still be alive and kicking - although I did think his 'death' may last longer than it did (I was thinking something more like Foggy's death at the beginning of the Brubaker/Lark run).
I thought the dream sequence was well done, especially visually.
Congrats to Alice and Kuljit for your letters being printed. It's cool to see contributions from people we 'know' from the board even if we don't really know you.
Also, thanks to Dave for the well written review (which almost cause me to not be able to wait until my lunch break to sneak over to my local comic shop). _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

I am still not sold on the new direction. It seems like three issues have passed and it is still setting things up for.....well...what.
I want to like this issue and the last and the one shot...but right now I am not won over. They have not been bad by any means but it just seems like something is missing, direction maybe. Who is Matt and where is he going with this? There needs to be more emphasis on that and substance there. The art is pretty but we are used to that with Lark, Maleev, etc etc. I am still reserving judgment as this may be better read as a whole arc but right now I have my reservations about the new direction and team. |

I didn't even notice this when I read it... shows how much I pay attention.
Just wanted to say congrats to Alice and Ryu who both got their letters published (and the others published... are you lurking?)
I'm surprised the Izo "non-death" was revealed so quickly.
Is there anyone here who is NOT liking this new direction for the title? _________________ Kuljit Mithra

I'm a big fan of the new team already, even though this particular issue felt a little "choppy" to me.
Regarding the dream sequence, there's something off about it which makes me suspect that Matt is possibly receiving these images from somewhere or someone, particularly since he comments that the dream has a different quality to it compared to his regular dreams. As for the women appearing in this scene, I don't think their appearances should be taken too literally, they are there for the readers' benefit. If he can in fact see them as they actually appear, then that only fuels my suspicion that this is no ordinary dream. In fact, was I the only one who found it odd that he woke up from the dream sitting on the throne? Why would he just fall asleep like that? Strange, I tell you!
I wasn't suprised by the Izo twist and it being so sudden, but it'll be interesting to see whether the two are really pursuing the same thing. _________________ The Other Murdock Papers |

Me too. I was expecting it to be a slightly longer-running plot point, along the lines of Foggy's death in Brubaker's run. |
