This isn't a comic, but rather a DD novel written by Madaleine E. Robins with art by Max Douglas.

I just finished it and I enjoyed it very much. The story concerns a serial killer terrorizing Hell's Kitchen who is mysteriously able to scramble DD's radar sense. At the same time, a corporation begins buying up portions of the neighborhood for their agendas. Robins does a nice job of balancing Matt as DD and as a lawyer as he deals with both problems. Her depictions of his actions are also quite good.

No big superheroics yet no grim darkness either. It's just Matt who triumphs and fails as he tries to resolve these matters.

It's set during Kelly's run, so you have Foggy, Rosalind, and Karen. Robins does a great job of showing Matt's relations with each of these supporting characters.

I'm not sure how many of you would be interested in reading a novel, but in-all , a fine DD story.

I've read it, and it's pretty good.

There is another called "Predator's Smile", that I didn't like as well. More superheroics and fight descriptions that I don't care to read about in print that look better in graphic novels.

The novelization of the movie was actually not bad, either. It made a lot more sense than the way the film got edited in the end.

Notes about all of them here: http://www.manwithoutfear.com/ddBOOKS.shtml

I have the Cutting Edge, but I haven't read it. I probably will read it over Spring Break.

I really enjoyed the Predator's Smile. Good book, set in the time period after the Born Again storyline.
