Just got around to reading this, thanks Kuljit.
It was interesting to hear the views of the people behind this. I always though that the sequence was superb, and pretty much perfect right up to the end with the DD logo reveal, which seemed tacked onto the end and a bit messy. Seems they had it forced upon them and it just goes to show, as does the cutting up of the original (Directors Cut) movie into the far less superior Theatrical version, that the marketing people know nothing!
I bet it was Gary Foster who insisted on the logo |

Thanks Pete, glad you liked it. I really like interviewing the lesser-known people who are connected to DD... lots of different views and opinions on DD and their work. _________________ Kuljit Mithra

I always thought the opening titles were quite brilliant to put the braille into the windows of the swooping skyline. Slightly vertigo inducing, but awesome.
Love reading the thought process behind the creations. Thanks for the insight! _________________ Alice
