I was just curious as to whether a Daredevil title, or limited series has ever been published under Marvel's MAX imprint?
If not, would you read a DD MAX story?
Also, what is the most adult DD story? |

No i don't beleive the title has had the fortune of having the title max (however the title "was" dark and realistic much like Punisher and Deadpool Max). if the assumption that max allows full depictions of sexual matters, gore and uncensored language then no not in the past.
would i read it? Yes, bit of a completionist and if it was good (no doubt) i would look forward to it weekly but it's not really neccesary for stories like that compared to Punisher and Deadpool. DD is like Batman and Moon knight on having the right amount of mature subject matter one can enjoy without crossing the line into sadistic pleasure.
it all kinda blends together but "Devil in Cell Block D" for it's violence that is unhindered with light humour to balance the bleak story or "Born Again" for it's elements of "cruelty" and "torture" and pretty much anything the Kingpin does or has going on in his inner monologue is dark. My best guess i sappose but i think you may need to be more specific on what stories you would call "adult" otherwise that's my guess. |

David Hine's "Daredevil: Redemption" is fairly adult, along with most of Miller's run, Bendis's run and Brubaker's run. Daredevil: Noir might qualify, too.
Anyway, whilst the title Daredevil might not have ever been a MAX book, I'm pretty sure Matt made a couple of cameos in Bendis's Alias, which was published under the imprint. |

sorry for not being more specific but you both pretty much answered my questions. Thanks.
I do wanna read Redemption some time soon, the synopsis sounds very cool. |

"Redemption" is a fantastic on it's own story but just note it's a heavy Matt Murdock court story with little Daredevil action in it. The whole tale is like a crime detective drama and it basically show how screwed up the legal system is (not to mention how screwed up people can be). But that being said the story is no less then a great read my friend, definately advise you to give it a try if you see it in your local comic book store |

^thanks for the info.
It sounds really cool, and the lack of DD isnt a problem. Matt's courtroom drama is one of the best aspects of the series. Its about devil worship or something like that right? I luv dark tales like that, hence the discussion. |
