I have to give Waid credit for coming up with this really clever shift for Nelson and Murdock. It allows Matt and Foggy to use their skills for the benefit of their clients, while still acknowledging the Pandora's Box that Bendis opened years ago (and obviously had no idea how to close). And, if Waid is setting up something with Doctor Doom, than I'm very excited. |

I am enjoying the story. As each issue goes by, there are more layers of story being unveiled.
As for the art, Marcos Martin is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists. His art tickles the dusty parts of my brain. It's very cerebral in that it doesn't follow all of the cliches of 2011 sequential art.
I can't wait for the next issue!
Tom
P.S. I gave it five stars. Four for the story, and five for the art. Then I rounded up -- because I am a glass half full kind of guy. (Most days.) |

This was easily a 5/5 issue for me. It did an excellent job of giving the reader an inside look into the mechanics of DD's powers and his life. In addition, the action was fantastic and creative, the side stories were all interesting, and Matt's lives as a lawyer and as Daredevil were shown to be extremely interconnected. I love the panel which shows him battling as DD to get information from people for the trial he's prepping a client for. It's an excellent way of depicting his double life, and how one can directly influence the other. |

maybe the art will grow on me but I'm not so keen on it. the story is pretty good so far, I like the new direction but for me the art is lacking. _________________ keep living you're life. |

Great issue again. Loving the interplay between Matt and Foggy, Waid hasn't put a foot wrong so far, as far as I'm concerned. He's taken a completely new direction without ignoring the issues left over in Matt's life from 'the dark' times, and made it all look effortless. A balancing act that not every writer could make work so well. So far.
I didn't quite get the same kick from the Martin art as I had from Rivera's first arc. Still, that's only because I believe Rivera born to draw this character and Martin's is still an excellent interpretation of Matt and his world.
I'm hoping all three main creative guys stick around for a very long time.
Just lovin' this book at the moment, and I'm someone who thought his days of lovin' this book were over, and I'd just have to content myself with the best run of back issues of any Marvel title. |

Thanks Dave, it was really not a letter I wrote for publication... it was just an email I sent the editorial team. So it was a surprise to see it published. _________________ Kuljit Mithra
