DAREDEVIL #10.1 ships April 4, by Mark Waid and Khoi Pham. It's part of the POINT ONE initiative by Marvel to introduce a "done in one" issue of DAREDEVIL that showcases everything you need to you about the character.
Please use this thread to discuss the issue!
Here's a preview:

I think Waid did a great job making this a "jumping on point" issue. It does set up everything you need to know about Daredevil for new readers, and is a great lead-in for The Omega Effect, to which I'm actually looking forward.
The only thing that is keeping me from giving this issue a five out of five is the part where sometihing happens behind closed doors. I feel it would have played better if we had been given a glimpse of what happened. |

I agree with most of this. The "behind closed doors" part worked for me, because there was some ambiquity as to who is calling for help until the door is opened.
It's a shame that Rivera or Samnee didn't do the art for this issue, because why use a less talented artist when you're trying to get readers to "jump on"? Not that Pham did a bad job, but his art is not the 5 star work we're used to seeing. |

I thought this was a much better .1 than most of the .1 Marvel Comics. Anyone could actually pick it up and know everything they need to know and enjoy the book. _________________ Sticking feathers up your butt does not make you a chicken. |
