Regarding Bullseye - Hardcore came out the same year as the film. Could be an inspiration, but it could have just been an editorial decision to keep things close - much like how Peter Parker got biologically produced webbing after the Raimi Spider-Man movie.

| "Don't say his name" obviously has to do with the Kingpin looking to maintain his Fisk identity about to deck anyone who misspeaks. I wouldn't look too much into the Catholicism lead in as it won't be the center piece of the series but a way to perhaps attract new viewers to this different more realistic super hero. I wish that the last episode would end with Karen Page holding out an envelope and leave us hanging on for season 2. |

Seriously? You want Born Again in Season 2? I don't even think they should touch BA until like Season 6 or 7, if they have them. For crying out loud, they may not even have a DD costume until Season 2, I'm guessing.

My argument was for season 3. I think saying there will be a seasons 6 or 7 would be generous.

three sounds good. you have to consider that karen page needs to work at nelson and murdock, fall in and out of love with matt, learn his secret identity aaaand then go away to become a filmstar. this is definately a lot of ground that needs to be covered in between all this, so lets do some bullseye stuff in season 2 and MAYBE build towards born again during the later episodes.

Granted, my plan got thrown out the window due to their unwillingness or inability to read my mind and use my ideas. In my version, Karen was secretary in season one. In season two, she was starting to be an actress and I introduced Typhoid Mary. Because of Mary's abilities to influence behaviors (and I guess Matt's own feelings, although that's always ambiguous), Matt starts to cheat on Karen. Due to that, she starts to break away from him, go to Hollywood, and gets addicted to drugs. Season 3 would basically be note for note of Born Again.
However, we have Bullseye and Elektra and a few other things to worry about. But I think there's room for all that in season 2 before Born Again in season 3.

Season 3 is still too soon for a Born Again. He needs to be a hero for a while. Matt and Karen's relationship should be semi long. She should leave for a whole season before she returns to wreck havoc on Matt's life. Not to mention, Kingpin and Matt should also have a longer relationship before he destroys Matt's life. I'd rather not see BA adapted than to have it rushed and shown before Season 5.

I'm totally with you on that!!
I think Karen would be working for them in season 1. Maybe she's in trouble in the first 2 episodes and they decide to hire her to help her get back on her feet and to "keep an eye" on her...  I believe two season's are enough to build their relationship.
As far as the Kingpin i think two season's are also enough to build their relationship. Karen leaves for Hollywood in season 3 and comes back in the last two episodes of season 4 to sell DD's secret!!
