I'm slowly collecting comics from Volume 1 and am interested in having some of them bound into volumes.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Can the comics be read fairly well (or does the binding cause you to not see the sections of the page where the binding crease is?).

There's a guy called Grayson on CBR's collected edition thread who does them personally, he puts pictures of bindings he does for other members of the forum. It's worth a look.

(Is it okay to recommend other forums around here?)

I would hope you can recommend CBR, it's one of the best messageboards on the internet for discussing comics (and I don't think it really directly competes with this one since it has one megathread for Daredevil while this place is much better if you really want to discuss DD).

That's beautiful. Does 540-566 refer to the new volumes issues if they'd stuck with the original numbering?

The only thing that would tempt me back in to single issue collecting would be a great custom bound book like that.

The Message Board is currently in read-only mode, as the software is now out of date. Several features and pages have been removed. If/When I get time I intend to re-launch the board with updated software.
