What should happen with Milla?
Don't like her, never did. I don't care how it happens, but she needs to go.

Not a big fan of the character, but don't care either way.

She should definitely stay in the book, but go permanently insane to give Matt even more to feel guilty about.

She should recover, stay in the book and divorce Matt, giving him something else to obsess about.

She should recover, stay with Matt for the foreseeable future, and be explored further as the interesting character that she might be (though I'm not 100% convinced).

Love the character (always have) and the marriage with no reservation. Give them a bunch of blind ninja children for all I care.

What I find ironic is how Peter Parker comes to mind as a great example of how a comic superhero can be married for a long time and still work well as a character. Well, at least almost everyone felt that way.

The difference to me is that Mary Jane had been around for so long before, that she knew what she was getting into. I didn't feel the same way about Milla. But yeah, I thought Peter and Mary Jane's marriage worked.

I was just reading ALL of JRJR and JMS' run on Spidey. Man, that was some great stuff. Very Ditkoish. But The Marriage was a great integral part of their run together. It never got boring, it was important. You felt like anything could happen. I don't understand at all why they're fixing the marriage. Their run together is Grade A stuff.

Call me a sucker for cheesy drama... but I would love for that to happen. For her to simply cheat on him. I mean, he's had it coming. He's still having nights on the town with Elektra and Black Widow... and still pining after Karen. Yeah, her kicking him to the curb would be a nice switch, and make perfect sense within the context of Bendis and Bru's respective runs on the book.

This has already happened in DD, sort of, when Foggy and Glorianna O'Breen fell in love (that was a nice twist!) . Technically, she wasn't cheating on Matt, as they had already broken up, etc... But in his altered/paranoid state of mind at the time, Matt was angry for Fog and Glory "conspiring" against him.

It's funny how possesive was Matt regarding la O'Breen: after cancelling dates, not calling her, and she finally taking the step of actually cancelling their relationship, etc... he still felt she was "his girl" (And, darn, I've met a few of those!)

Speaking of Matt and break-ups, who else thinks what Foggy and Natasha did to break up Matt and Heather was a horrible thing to do? Shouldn't Foggy have felt guilty as well when Heather killed herself?

Personally, I think he should. While I understand that he did it for Heather's sake: Matt was quite crazy after Elektra's demise, and was cutting Heather's wings badly so he could be his nice little wifey. Natasha, however, must have had her own agenda in this affair Rolling Eyes

In a way, the relationship was going bonkers, so at first I thought it was good for them to be apart... for a while

The bad thing about the Matt-Heather break-up, is that, whenever she showed up again , she was written like a pathetic drunk unable to control her life: for God's sake! Heather was a woman who had fought back Doc Ock himself!

While I think that the story about heather's death is a very good one, sometimes I think I'd rather have her go and come back eventually as a friend of Matt, but sober and with a life of her own, and all...
