The best comic movie/one of my fav ever films.

All I didn't like was Two Face's sort of 15 minutes of fame... then he died? Two face isnt a pathetic character to be killed off in 15 minutes!

I don't think Two-Face died at the end actually just unconscious from the fall. Two Face was amazing BTW and Aaron Eekhart's (sp?) performance was very underrated. I don't think I can really comment on the Joker more than anyone else, he was perfect.

What can I say this movie was amazing (I went to the theatre twice for it) it was dark, serious, realistic, everything you want a Batman movie to be. It was a crime movie that just happened to have a superhero in it. Sure the comic nerd in me didn't like some of the small changes here and there but I overlooked them because they made sense and still we're faithful to the characters and the history/mythology of the comics. I loved the scene in Hong Kong, that was just pure Batman doing whatever he can to catch the bad guys, the vigilante breaking the law for the greater good. Great stuff.

I do agree with someone who said Christian Bale did sound kind of funny when he did his Batman voice, to me it sounds like he is trying to imitate Alec Baldwin. Laughing But really it didn't matter that much, Bruce does put on a different voice when he's in costume so it's fine.

As for villians for the next movie, as long as Nolan can make the characters like he has been doing I would be interested in seeing his take on Riddler, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Bane or Penguin. Of course he would have to tread lightly as these characters are pretty easy to come off as campy. For a good Mob boss character I would put a vote in for Black Mask. A good more "unknown" villian to see would be Firefly the whacked out pyromaniac. They could do him without the bug suit he has in the comic too and he could still be a pretty interesting character, maybe a secondary villian and plot device.

Villians I DON'T want to see... Calender Man, The Mad Hatter, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Crazy Quilt.... Razz Laughing

Dent died. They even made him a sort of public funeral, or someone was just speaking in his memory, I don't remember.

hmmm... my impression of it was that Harvey wasn't dead but they put on a fake funeral to let the public think he was dead, while more than likely Two-Face was sent off to Arkham. I mean the public didn't know anything about Harvey becoming Two-Face. (or his existence YET)

Maybe I'm wrong though. But if they did kill him, what a waste of a great character for a sequel.

That is also possible, in fact, even I didn't remember that he was dead at the end of the movie (I was made to notice afterwards by my sister), and I also thought that the funeral was just a fake to avoid telling the citizenship that the former paladin of order and legality in Gotham had become a murderous madman.

I really liked it. I'd give it an 8/10. I kind of wish Two Face had been saved for the next movie though. Although they will probably have to have him in the next movie since Heith Ledger is dead. I really like Heith Ledger's Joker. He was great.
