The chat room will be open from 9-4 EDT Fridays for anyone who wants to use
it and the scheduled chat will take place at 2PM. Please drop in!

Forgive my lack of knowledge of US time zones, what does this time frame mean for someone on Greenwich Mean Time? Or British Summer time to be more accurate but I won't be sad!
I think that New York is -5hrs from GMT and LA is -8hrs GMT, so which zone are you in relation to GMT?

Yes, it would be the same as New York GMT -5 (and we are on Daylight Savings Time until October...)
If anyone thinks another day would be better, or a different time, please speak up!

Thanks Kuljit, I have internet problems at home, but I will try and get on the chat ASAP, it is quite a good time for us Brits.
