Is this true!? I've seen the article on Newsrama and Marvel.com. Does anyone have more information on this? |

It's gonna suck because Miller's not doing it. |

Yeah, I wish Quesada could put away his Frank Miller Hatred boner. Daredevil broke alot of ground in comics during the early 80's, and the bulk of the credit (if not all) lies with Frank Miller. Considering his self-professed DD fandom, his rancorous attitude towards Miller seems antithetical. It certainly doesn't best serve the fans of this character.
I'd actually love to see Mazzuccelli come out of retirement to draw some DD, also. Pipe dreams, pipe dreams... |

Quesada hates Miller? I didn't know that. Where did you hear that? |

I didn't know that either.
On the flip side I bet Miller hates Quesada. _________________ JC

I believe that, aside from my first-hand knowledge (which, understandably, I'd prefer to keep quiet) that Rich Johnston has discussed Quesada's attitude towards Miller in his 'Lying in the Gutters' column. |

I don't like the idea. This idea of "writing the end to DD". |

Meh. It's obviously not in continuity. Plus, if it's good everyone will like it and consider it kinda in continuity. If it sucks everyone will consider it a big "what if?".
From what I gather Claremont's X-Men: The End is kinda nuts and not very good and no one seems to consider it as official continuity. At the same time it's just off in a corner not bothering anyone. No pain, no stain, no cut in the gut. _________________ JC

I'd put down money that you haven't read Miller's latest, All Star Batman and Robin.
Back on topic, I agree that it's just a big "What If?" If it's good, then I'm happy. If it's bad, then I'm apathetic because it really doesn't affect the DD I know and love. _________________ "Flash is back. Worlds will die again!" |

Hello everyone. Can anybody tell me what the score is here? Rumours of killing off Daredevil, is it true or just another scare tactic by our good friends at Marvel ? |

I listened to the podcast Bendis interview. (On this note, I like Bendis. He's a funny guy. I love his earlier works. I just don't like the past couple years of his Marvel work. Just FYI, I'm not a hater. )
Anyway, I got the very strong impression from the podcast and other links (from the News section of this site) that this is 100% another "The End" story, like those Marvel published for Wolverine, the X-Men, Fantastic Four, etc. It takes place in the future which essentially means it's a "What If?". This is nothing to worry about whatsoever; just another fun DD mini.
(This and the Jack Murdock mini and I'm in heaven! For the past couple years, DD has had the best minis in comics! ) _________________ "Flash is back. Worlds will die again!" |
