I just read the trade of the 2006 three issue mini and it was good! It is VERY brutal/violent but it was not just a gore comic, at all. I would highly recommend this book to fans of Punisher MAX, etc.
I haven't picked up any of the 2007 issues, yet. Anyone else read Painkiller Jane? _________________ "Flash is back. Worlds will die again!" |

I saw some previews of Painkiller Jane. There's a bit too much cheesecake for my tastes. |

Are they still making the T.V. show? I only caught a few moments of 2 different episodes some months back. I didn't see enough to decide if I liked it or not, but it struck me as a mix between La Femme Nikita and Wolverine. Is it significantly different than the book? _________________ It's never too late to have a happy childhood! |

The show was cancelled with good reason, it was pretty terrible (IMO). However, the books are about the most fun I can have without being forced to cuddle afterwards!
P.S. They are very, very violet. (On par with or more so than the average Punisher MAX.) I just want anyone who might pick up Painkiller Jane to know this. _________________ "Flash is back. Worlds will die again!" |
