|
|
Hi all,
What the deal with the DD350 cover variant? It has a higher cover price ($3.50 instead of $2.99) and a darker logo. People's eyes are also tinted brown/gold to match the logo. The only other differences are the shade of blue in "Marvel Edge" and a reference in the barcode to "35021" as opposed to "35011."
It's not a high-priced back issue either way, but I'm curious since I can't find ANYTHING online about it. Does anyone know the deal?
Thanks,
Paul |

I'm pretty sure I remember Marvel made two versions of this comic, one with the "gold" stamping, and one without, for people who didn't want to spend the extra money on the "enhancement". _________________ Kuljit Mithra

The important part is that both versions stunk. _________________ JC

Agreed! I just reread it last night and it made me embarrassed to be a DD fan.
I would presume that the "gold" (brown in my opinion) stamping is more limited, but it seems pretty split when I look at photos of the cover online. |
