I don't know how many of you ever read the hardback collection of the second volume of "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" because there was a story there, "The Story Teddy Teague, Who couldn't wait for his issue of the League" in which Moore and O'Neill poked fun at the growing despair of the fanboy about the constant delays of issues from a favourite series.
Well, seems that #101 won't come out next week, but in October 24th.
Ouch, ouch, ouch. O Weh! Vae readers
So I'm under the Teddy Teague Syndrome, or if you prefer it, the Achilles-is-faster-than-the-turtle-but-cannot-catch-it-cause-the-goshdarn-chelonid-is-always-a-few-steps-ahead Syndrome
OK, I work in the print world, and I'm pretty aware of the sophistication of the design-Prepress-Press-Postpress & distribution processes, to which the previous -and no less complicated- editorial/creative affairs must be added.
I know, I understand... but then I'm so hooked now to the current events in the series, that any delay in my monthly DD fix gives me Cold Turkey agony. Because right now, nothing blows my mind like a good dose of Brubaker plus Lark
I know this month we are supposed to have a double treat with the Annual, but still...
I fear this thread will have a montly update _________________ Gloria
