He's worn more costumes but I can't imagine anyone voting for something other than the red or yellow.

I voted "yellow" just because I have a weird soft spot for the original duds. First off, they've always seemed sort of special insofar as you really don't see them that often. I mean, they originally lasted six issues for heavens sake (with the original with the singel "D" only lasting four). Plus, there's something "classic" about the yellow tights. Maybe it's just the almost blatant stupidity of them. As though the costume was designed to look cool (which it does - you can't beat the yellow mask when the eyes are coloured red) with no regard for function (of course DareDEVIL would wear red and not yellow).

Ironically though I really didn't care for Yellow the mini-series.

In my opinion it should have always been red. I mean HELLO Devil=Red! Only makes sense. And as for the armor costume? It's a lot like Batman and Robin, better left unspoken about. Just let it die.

Seriously, the armor costume is my favorite. I think the design and color are fantastic. I really wish that DD would have a couple different costumes for different situations.

I voted red, but do admit that the yellow ones are always good to see, they just bring something back.
Definitely not the red one with the hood though, there was a reason it only lasted a handful of issues, what a stupid idea.
I also like the way JRJR draws just Matt Murdock in The Man Without Fear, he looks good!

A surprisingly difficult question, as opposed to 'least favourite' which is easily the armoured crap. Matt/Mike dressed up as Thor makes for a better read than that.

I love the Wood designed Red, but have a real soft spot for the original yellow in its myriad forms (Everett in #1 gives him some nifty buttons on gloves and boots, that disappear by #2, closely followed by a hood that disapears by #4, then in #5 we get the 'double D' etc..) Whatever, I love Red, but voted Yellow, meaning the ultra early 'single D' yellow, purely for sentimental yummy nostalgic reasons wraped up in goo. Or something.

Has anyone mentioned the movie costume? While I didn't really care for the movie I thought the costume was pretty cool but I didn't really like when DD kept the collar open, which he did for most of the movie.

It is a really tough call. The new DD statues from Hard Hero showed up last week and I snagged the red version, although the yellow looks just as cool.

The red is just a bit more...traditional, due to the iconic staying power.
