Press Release
Marvel is pleased to announce that the Daredevil By Frank Miller Omnibus Companion, collecting more of Miller’s groundbreaking DD stories, has now expanded by over 120 pages! In addition to collecting Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #27-28, Daredevil #219, 226-233, Daredevil: Man Without Fear #1-5, and Daredevil: Love And War, this collection includes a bevy of never-before-seen extras! Penciled pages by David Mazzucchelli! Frank Miller’s Daredevil series bible from 1980! The original plot to Daredevil #219, the script to Daredevil #233 and the original drafts of the landmark Daredevil: Man Without Fear are all featured in this essential hardcover for any Daredevil fan!

That's tempting, just for the extras. The trouble is, it'd be doubling up so much stuff that I own already that I'm not convinced that it's going to be worth the money.... |

I passed on the first omnibus but I'm crazy looking forward to this one. This is Miller at his Daredevil best. _________________ JC

Can't see myself getting this, since I have every one of these issues in one form or another, and I can't see myself paying all that money for a bunch of extras. |

Yeah, I have the issues (except for the Spiderman ones) too but luckily (?) they're all in pretty crappy form. I have a super beaten up Born Again trade, the single issues of MWOF and the original graphic novel of Love and War. It'll be nice to have everything in a better format and the extras just put it over the top. _________________ JC

The only beef I have with Marvel and their omnibus program is the page size. They go through all the trouble to make their pages slightly bigger. Why not more? There must be some sort of economic/shipping answer that is hindering Marvel from doing something along the lines of DC's Absolutes. I don't know, but it bugs me a bit.
