Some comments:

- Tony Stark has a meeting with Richards and Pym while wearing his armor, who knows why. I know that it's scenic and all, but it makes no sense. And even if there was the urgency to be prepared for who knows what surprise attack in his secret base, he can always summon his armor from within his body almost instantly.

- Saying "secret laboratory" has become retro, apparently. Nowadays they say "laboratory location: confidential".

- This has been said many times already, but there's still no logical justification to it. Stark gets all scared about a secret invasion just because they've found the corpse of a Skrull.

- Hank Pym learns that the corpse of a Skrull impersonating Elektra has been found and what does he ask?
"For how long?"
It makes no sense for him to ask a question like that. It's not as if they've had any significant interaction with Elektra before. Also, it's not like Elektra is a public figure. They just have found a Skrull who was impersonating Elektra at that moment they killed it. But it doesn't imply anything about the real Elektra.
If "one of the smartest persons on earth" uses logical reasoning like this, I fear that earth is already doomed.

- Stark makes a big deal on the fact that that skrull was undetectable, neither by magic, nor psychic, nor technological means. But how could he even know? He wasn't there when they found that Skrull, and no one has ever tried any of these methods of scanning on her.

Stark has been informed of what happened when the New Avengers found Elektra, by Spider-Woman, in the pages of recent issues ofMighty Avengers.

Say, Hank Pym does seem to be acting strangely, doesn't he? Smile

Sweet.

Still makes little sense. Exactly what was he told? I don't think any of the NA had made such scannings (technological, magical or psychic) on that Elektra before it was revealed to be a Skrull. They just learned after Echo killed her and she became all green, point eared and with multi-chin.
At most Spider-Woman could've told that Wolverine couldn't smell the difference, but not enough for Stark to make such a granitic statement to his science buddies.

On the top of it all, Stark in particular has never trusted Spider Woman if I recall correctly, even before the Civil War. Now she comes all of a sudden with all these fragmentary information and not only he believes her (which sounds even more unlikely in a context like this), but also arrives to conclusions that totally lack proof?

So he's a Skrull? It's not like his initial question makes more sense. It's still an unlikely question to make, even if he's just being impersonated.

On a side note, isn't like Reed's initial objection makes more sense, either. He says:
"Why anyone couldn't tell?"

Stark still hasn't said anything about it. It's as if Reed is reading Bendis' script in advance.
Besides, it's still an unlikely question to make. It's not like in the Marvel Universe they are constantly checking if everyone is really who he appears to be with periodical technological, magical or psychic tests.
