Check around to see if your local comic shop is doing something special for Free Comic Book Day, which is Saturday, May 3, 2008.
If you are in the Dallas, Texas, area that day, come join the festivities at CAPE!, the Comics and Popculture Expo. I will be there among the artists' tables, so come introduce yourself! Oh, yeah, David Mack will be there, too. It's a big free event, and Zeus Comics will also have their famous 25 cent comic boxes for your perusal.

I totally wish I was in the Dallas area!  Alas, I'm not. Have fun for all of us and take lots of pictures! I'm totally jealous, though. Stuck in this comics no man's land, I must live vicariously...

It was fantastic! I got to see a lot of internet friends, and there was a live art night featuring David Mack, Jim Mahfood, Dave Crosland, Lea Hernandez and many others. I even did a sketch that sold at the auction where the proceeds went to Ronald McDonald House.
Got a sketch from Lawrence Reynolds, who is an upcoming talent, and this is his first ever DD sketch, which I commissioned:
