While this hasn't been 100% confirmed, maybe at San Diego, this comes from a reliable source with very good connections to Hasbro.

First Appearance Daredevil
Hasbro is going old school and they are doing it right! Unlike the yellow and red Daredevil Toy Biz produced as a chase figure in their pre-Marvel Legends Spider-Man series, Hasbro's Man Without Fear looks better than a meager repaint. (Though it might very well be). You see, the costume features the double D logo instead of the single D. Since this appears to be a sculpted detail, chances are good we'll see the red costume as well.
This figure features a ball jointed head, ball jointed shoulders, swivel biceps, double pivot elbows, ball jointed wrists, pivot torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double pivot knees, and ball jointed ankles. Also, the figure features billy clubs and a functional holster.
Additional info I received from a Wal Mart employee, who happened upon a manifest from Hasbro with all their product shipping this year, stated that there are 2 Daredevil Marvel Legends Icon figures coming out this year. I would imagine a red and yellow version. For those not familiar with the Icon line, they are 12" action figures with greater detail than their 6" counterparts.
I would say with the multiple statues, busts and figures coming out this year, our beloved Devil is finally getting his due. I'm happy.

The Marvel Legends Icon series Daredevil figure has begun to ship. While there have been no confirmed reports of any surfacing in the US yet, they have hit the shelves in Philippines and China. This usually means that we will see them on our shelves in the coming weeks. Here is a pic posted by one lucky individual in the Philippines.
On that same forum, from a very reliable source, it was stated that the last 2 lines of this series, DD/Nightcrawler and Colossus/Phoenix, will be the last of the icons line. I hope that these are still readily available for us to purchase. I know I would like to pick up at least 2 of each of the Daredevils. If they do turn out to be difficult to get, hopefully we can help each other out.

Some updated information on the Marvel Legends Icons series Daredevil figures. While there has been talk that the Icons series being canceled which produced speculation that the last 2 series of these way overdue figures; both yellow and red Daredevil, Nightcrawler, both green and red Phoenix and Colossus may never see the light of day on retailers shelves. Good news comes from the New York Toyfair 2008. When asked about what the future of these figures, it was stated "The 2 waves are still coming but are delayed. They would not say anything past the 4 we know of but they assured that they were on the way".
Thank Goodness!!!
I can't wait to get a couple of each of the Daredevil figures. Also, Marvel Legends series 4, containing 6" versions of the red and yellow Daredevil figures, will be arriving in stores soon as well.

Hasbro has released the shipping info for the 12" Icon Series Daredevil figures, both red and yellow, and the Marvel Legends 6" Daredevil figures, both red and yellow.
The 12" Icons series Daredevil figures are slated to be released in Spring 2009. I'm sure there will be more accurate info closer to that time.
The 6" Marvel Legends line that has the red and yellow versions of Daredevil is the Nemesis build a figure wave. It is a Wal Mart exclusive wave, you can only buy them at Wal Mart stores, and it is slated to arrive in stores in December. The yellow Daredevil figure is common figure and the red costume is a variant figure. Also, in that line are Punisher, Tigra, Nova (Richard Ryder), Black Bolt and Beast in his Astonishing X-men costume.
I believe the red costume is also a variant in the 12" Icon line. Depending on how they are distributed, we may need to work together to accommodate our needs. I am looking for at least 2 of each version in each line. Hopefully more.

Got any pictures? I couldn't find these on Hasbro's corporate site.
It annoys me that these figures are going to be a WalMart exclusive. I hate Wally World. Shopping there is the last resort for anything for me. Now I'm going to have to find out when these things MIGHT ship. I really hate going in there between Thanksgiving and Christmas! *grumblegripecomplain* _________________ Alice

This is the promotional pic for the 6" Marvel Legends First appearance Daredevil.
The 2 pictures in the 3rd post of this thread are the 12" Icon Series Daredevil figures. They are the same sculpt and paint job.

On one forum, I saw images that someone had purchased the figures from the next wave of Marvel Legends which includes the 2 Daredevil figures. These are 6" figures and are a Wal Mart exclusive wave, so keep your eyes out.
Here are the final press release images from Hasbro:

I was able to pick up 2 sets of the Daredevil figures at my local Toys R Us store and they are beautiful!! They are $19.99 retail and $29.99 through previews. Amazing the way Diamond scalps the fans, btu sure there is no monopoly there. I saw in the April Previews order form that these are offered again for order.
On a side note, the 6" Marvel Legends Daredevil figures have been spotty on Ebay with auctions from mostly Canada followed by NY, Florida and Colorado. I had heard that they were released in Canada, but not fully released in the US. I'm not sure as why the hold up. I thought they were holding out for Easter, but now that it is upon us and the figures have not appeared locally, for me, and the same for my contacts in different locals. I hope that these do not become harder to find than the last Wal-Mart exclusive series of Marvel Legends.

Does anyone have any access to some of the Daredevil Marvel Legends 6" figures? These were officially released in the US right after San Diego Comic Con and appeared on shelves only to have disappeared just as quick. I was able to find a few in my local Wal Marts, but all have already taken down the pegs and tags for them. So, I am to assume that they are not getting any more in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

At least you've actually seen them in stores! I've never seen them on the shelves here in VA (at least not the local store around me). I only have the two I have (1 each of the regular and variant DD's) because a friend randomly saw them in a NC Wal-Mart and knew I was looking for them. This wave of Wal-Mart exclusives seems a lot more difficult to find than past exclusive waves. _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

It took me this long, but I finally got the red version of this figure today. I picked up the yellow version a couple months ago on ebay. They are very nice. _________________ Alice
