I won't be getting it tomorrow, because the store is closing down for holiday, getting it on Thursday alongside Thor #602. |

Another good review. Your ability to remain spoiler free is amazing! Can't wait until lunch tomorrow when I can pick this week's books up. _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

BT and WT going on errands....
I remember Brubaker saying, early in his run, something about not breaking someone else's toys. I hope he meant it _________________ Gloria

Francesco, that I remember, he only used back in the Miller run when he couldn't control his super-senses, and I felt it was Stick who put him in there.
Still, he's been so over-stressed of late that maybe he purchased one _________________ Gloria

Didn't he have a sensory deprivation tank in DD: Father, too? |

I also remember he jokingly said that next time he'll kill Foggy, that'll be for real !
But I think it's too obvious and someone else will die, not Foggy. _________________ Visit the Red Shaker |

No. In fact it was the other way around! In it Matt jokes on how to shut out all the noise he'd need one "like those of movies". |

Is Daredevil: Father canon and worth picking up? |

It'd solve alot of problems if Dakota was killed off. Which I'm betting they'll do. Add some more grief to Matt's life. Why not. |

I don't see why it wouldn't be considered canon. Maybe the Santerians still exist -- who am I to say? I don't think it added anything of worth to Daredevil's life. I personally found the Santerians annnoying, Daredevil's sudden alternative costume silly, and his disinterest in anything happening outside of Hell's Kitchen uncharacteristic. I thought it started out promisingly, but in the end I don't recommend it.
As for how Brubaker is going to end his run, I'm hoping that neither Foggy or Dakota die. It would be a needlessly empty and shocking way for him to leave, and I don't think he does anything needlessly or without a long-term plan in mind. When he left Catwoman, he did so without killing anybody, but it was still an emotionally satisfying end to his run.
If someone has to die, I hope its a peripheral character, like White Tiger. But even that would come off as needlessly shocking to me. I really don't see why Brubaker would write the death scene for a long-time character if he wasn't going to stick around and deal with the aftermath, especially since, after #500, we're not going to have another issue until October. |

Ah, that's right. I knew there was a connection somewhere. |
