I'll be picking up all of those except for the Black Widow and Marvel Girls. Can't wait for the 2nd Brubaker/Lark omnibus!
Also, it's not DD related, but they solicted a HC collection for Matt Fractions first 19 issues of Invincible Iron Man. I've been reading a friend's copies while I waited for a nice HC collection and it's excellent. Why does Marvel always have to drop the big HCs I'm looking forward to at the same time!? A year ago they solicited both the Brubaker/Lark DD Vol. 1 Omnibus and the Brubaker/Fraction Immortal Iron Fist Omnibus at the same time.
It's going to be an expensive month...argh _________________ https://twitter.com/tburnham7

Nice to see confirmation of the second Brubaker Omnibus. Good to see that it contains the Annual and the Black Tarantula one-shot, too. |

Also good to see they're not kidding around with the Lone Strangers TPB. Nothing says Nocenti like DD with a noose on the cover. _________________ JC

Love that cover.
Of those listed, I would get the Nocenti TPB first for I have too many holes in my Nocenti issue run. |

I really wish they have gotten someone like Aja or Lark or Cocker or Criminal's Sean Phillips for a mere three issue stint instead the artist solicited. I've seen his work on ASM and it simply isn't like that the artists who've worked on this book in years past. I have a bad a feeling this may be another arc I'll have to skip since it sounds, more or less, like filler so Diggle or de la Torre can have time to finish up whatever other projects one or the other or both has in need of completion or whatever other obligations they have that need to be cleared up. That cover there in the opening post, too, looks like something thrown together in photoshop or in the simple paint program we all have our computers and by someone of admirable caliber. I'm not impressed. I hate to be the pessimist here, but Febuary to April don't look very good for DD. Not at all. Oh, well. |
